It converts standard 100~240V/AC power into low-voltage DC that runs over an existing LAN cable to power up Power over Ethernet (PoE) compliant network accessories like e.g. workgroup switches, network cameras, access points, IP-phones.
PoE+/PoE++ resource management: the switch supports PoE+/PoE++ connections with up to 30W per port. Total switch consumption is limited to 150 watts to prevent excessive heat dissipation. With Power over Ethernet, the ports are prioritized numerically (1-2-3-...) and switched off from back to front at full load. |
