This 4-in-1 Docking Station makes it possible to expand your device’s USB Type-C capacity with HDMI/USB-C PD/USB 3.0 ports. The adapter provides an easy way to add HDTV, or equipment such as a monitor or projector to any USB-C device such as a smartphone, portable gaming console, MacBook, Chromebook Pixel or any similar late-model laptop with USB-C ports. The multiport video adapter lets you mirror or extend content on two additional monitors simultaneously (2 x HDMI), creating a dual-screen workstation. Multi Stream Transport, or MST, is a means of connecting one or more monitors together via a single display port. This technology makes it possible to connect say, two monitors to a laptop, using a docking station. This works by combining multiple video signals into one single stream and then ‘unpacking;’ them again on the display side. MST works on any Windows® device that supports DP Alt Mode (DisplayPort Alternate Mode), using USB-C. Perfect for home entertainment, office presentations and classroom teaching.
